Jack Raplee recently served as a moderator for a Youth/Young Adults writer forum at the Queens Book Festival. The first annual festival took place on August7th at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens. As moderator of a panel of six other Queens authors, Jack not only moderated questions from the audience directed to members of the panel, he used the opportunity to share a bit about Regina (Reg) and Cayla’s Dream Adventure, as well which generated some interest and questions from both the audience and the other members of the panel. As a showcase of local Queens authors, Jack enjoyed the opportunity to attend the festival, moderate this panel discussion and publicize the book all at the same time.

We proudly present an audio recording of Rebecca reading “Hollie’s Passage" poem by Donald Boyd excerpted from Regina (Reg) and Cayla’s Dream Adventure. The reading wonderfully captures the essence of the inner struggle of the Villain Hollie, the main protagonist in the book.
